Half a Century of Experience
Türkiye’s largest manufacturer and exporter of industrial compressors, Dalgakıran Kompresör was founded in Istanbul in 1965 by Ömer Dalgakıran in a modest workshop measuring 25 m². Dalgakıran Kompresör has grown rapidly since the day it was founded through the investments it has made and today owns the largest compressor production plant under one roof in Europe and Türkiye with a closed production area covering 50,000 m².
Dalgakıran Kompresör has a diverse range of products and production quality to world standards. As one of Türkiye’s top 500 exporters, it reliably exports compressors to more than 130 countries and continues to work, invest, and grow for the betterment of Türkiye's industry and economy.

1965
1969
RECIPROCATING COMPRESSOR PRODUCTION
To begin with, the workshop only does machinery repairs but after 1969 it begins making 100, 200, and 300-litre reciprocating compressors.
1979
COMPANY MOVES TO TOPKAPI
The company moves its production workshop to a site built on 100 m² of space in Topkapı.
1982
PRODUCTION RANGE EXPANDS
Production of single- and duel-stage low-and high-pressure reciprocating compressors begins. The product range starts to expand and becomes able to meet the needs of various industries.
1987
2ND GENERATION MANAGEMENT
The second generation of directors, Adnan Dalgakıran and Ayhan Dalgakıran, start working actively inside the company.
1988
DALGAKIRAN GROWS
In addition to the production facilities in Topkapı, a new compound situated in the IMES Industrial Zone on Istanbul’s Anatolian side is brought into service.
1991
FIRST SCREW-TYPE COMPRESSOR PRODUCTION
The entire production line moves to the IMES Industrial Zone and expands its production area to 2,500 m². Production of the first screw-type compressors begins here.
1998
FIRST FACTORY
The first factory covering 6000 m² is established in Sancaktepe, Istanbul. Production of low-pressure compressors for the cement industry begins.
2000
PRODUCTION OF BOOSTER SERIES BEGINS
Production of screw-type and reciprocating compressors is accelerated. Production of booster compressors for the pet bottle industry begins.
2002
RUSSIA OFFICE OPENS
The ZAO DALGAKIRAN RUSSIA company is founded in Russia.
2004
GERMANY OFFICE OPENS
The HERTZ KOMPRESSOREN GMBH company is founded in Germany.
2005
UKRAINE OFFICE OPENS
The LLC DALGAKIRAN UKRAINE company is founded in Ukraine.
2007
GROWING R&D DEPARTMENT
The company expands the DALGAKIRAN R&D department. Production of oil-free/dry screw-type compressors begins.
2008
PRODUCTION AREA EXPANDS
The factory production which began on 6000 m² is increased to 27,000 m².
2010
PRODUCT RANGE EXPANDS WITH EACH PASSING DAY
The company continues to expand its product range without breaking its stride and begins production of mobile screw-type and three-stage high-pressure compressors.
2015
GROWING EMPLOYMENT
Dalgakıran now has a staff of 500 people at home and abroad and occupies 27,000 m2 of space.
2016
TURBO COMPRESSOR PRODUCTION
The IHI-DALGAKIRAN Ltd. Şti. company is founded. DALGAKIRAN is Türkiye’s first and only manufacturer of turbo compressors

AMERICA OFFICE OPENS
Hertz Kompressoren USA is founded in Charlotte.
2021
NEW FACTORY
Production begins in the largest compressor factory under one roof in Europe covering 50,000 m².
